Hi, for the last week or so i have been having issues with my microphone working in (new) rust, i hold down my voice key which is bound to (v) button my icon appears and flashes as i talk but no one can hear me.
I have looked at my in game volume setting and all other outside game volume settings and i can not find the issue, my mic works fine with steam and all other games and applications including [B]rust legacy[/B], the problems seems to only be new rust, any help will be much appreciated.
I have tried another mic,and even re installing the game, i have also tried other server all have the same outcome.
Anyone?
[B]:update:[/B] I have the same issue with new patch aswell.. This is pretty game breaking starting to give up :(
I also have a bug with the mic. Sometimes if I talk in game after some time my picture and name stays at the bottom of the screen even if I'm not pressing the key or talking. I don't see it on my screen, but my friends can see it and the only way to fix this is by restarting rust or rejoining the server. It's annoying because I don't know that they can see this and it gives away your position.

So My mic is working again :) but only on 1 select server... it still does not work on quite a few others. im thinking some sort of server issue???

1) Update your sound driver
2) Check your microphone on steam
