It's awful and I really love this game, please consider getting rid of it. I know it's an experiment but I REALLY hate gun sway. (User was banned for this post ("all caps thread title" - postal))
I like it. Gives more of a challenge to the game. The game needs something like this especially since they increased the headshot damage. It was so easy to get long range headshots with M4's and pistols before. They should keep it. They should even increase the sway after running since the character would be a little exhausted.
I've always thought it was annoying.

A little gunsway is fine, but at the moment there is far too much, the only people who sway that much with a firearm are drunks and 6 year old children.
They need to implement a hold your breath function to lessen the sway if they're set on having it.

agreed.
There is nothing wrong with the current level of "sway". Just throw a Holo sight and learn to crouch when aiming. Easy to headshot but takes some practice.
The gun sway is fine and it's hardly noticeable unless you've been moving/running (which is how it should be). It's nowhere near "far too much". I have a feeling that the only people who are against this feature are those who couldn't aim before (I know for a fact that's a large amount of the player base) and/or people who have never played a real FPS.
I haven't played the game yet today.. anybody have a video of the sway so i can chime my two cents on it?

Enlighten us.
It's really not that bad, try it out for a week. If you wait you'll notice little gaps of stability to take the shot
What is a real FPS? Enlighten us.
I'd say that many years ago they would have been games like Americas Army (back around v1.9/2.0), perhaps even Operation Flashpoint. FPS' these days are simply death match, run 'n gun, die and re-spawn shit fests. Even games like CSS that don't base their "fun" around dying and re-spawning have the shittiest idea about how aiming/shooting should work - it's nice to go back to recoil-based aiming/shooting with rust. //edit Oh also, I forgot to mention the "get in a vehicle and win" / "get a kill streak and win" / "use explosives and win" mentalities these days... so much for the "FPS" part.
What is a real FPS? Enlighten us.
Counter-Strike / CSGO, Insurgency. CSGO Doesn't have gun sway, but it's recoil makes up for that. To top this... It's obvious that weapon sway isn't that bad. I can still hit shit regardless of it. GG for actually aiming.
Actual gun sway if fine IMO, It should stay like that, forcing ppl to crouch if they want make accurate shot. At last no more running and shooting down ppl 100ft away..
Gorthan, quickly edit your post and get rid of all Caps in your thread title or the moderators will ban you. Just a heads up :P (User was banned for this post ("report, don't reply" - postal)) (User was banned for this post ("report, don't reply" - postal))

It's just your own aim not being stable when moving. [editline]19th December 2013[/editline]
There is nothing wrong with the current level of "sway". I like the sway but as a sport shooter I have to say, that it's a bit too much sway to be realistic.
