the player "Mr mx5001" is a hacker.
i was in my house and just looked around the area and when i looked down i saw a shadow of someone on the roof.
i looked at him and he started shooting me but i killed him.
and then after that he tried to kill us again but now he flew around the windows and tried to shoot me but i killed him again .
Provide proof.

I don't think devs care really much for hackers in an alpha stage of the game... nothing is permanent anyway... pick up your stuff and log off for a while until the hacker loses interest in you.
I guess thats how he got into my groups tower from the top without there being any thing along the side.
I say hack to your hearts content in the alpha...helps eliminate them later on. It's not enough to just hunt down those who know exploits, it's hunting down the exploits.
I guess in a way, the hacker contributes more than someone who reports him.

That's what I was thinking. In an alpha/beta stage, you should try to break the game as much as you can so that it can be fixed before it comes out.
If you do break the game then make sure to report the method and results. Otherwise you are simply disrupting actual testing.
I doubt half the people that hack are gonna be like "Oh i'll report this hack"
reporting hackers tells the dev's that there are hacks out there to look into and get rid of.
I can approve, this is the same person who could jump super-high, and by that he jumped onto roofs and slipped in through windows.

Well, duh.
I was not trying to defend hackers. Quite the contrary. I am fed up with people thinking hacking on its own contributes to development. It's only when it gets reported - by the one breaking the game - that it becomes a positive activity.
Users reporting hackers are doing the right thing. But since they aren't able to report the actual method, the devs will have to reverse-engineer it. This takes time and ressources that could have been spent for actual game development.
And this is why hackers [I]impede[/I] progress.

I can confirm that there's something odd about mrx5001.
I've been hearing multiple people complain about him and I just witnessed him clip through my wall. What happened after that wasn't pretty.
The other reports say the same thing. Wall clipping, etc.

No no, that's dumb. We want the game to work now, without any rocky periods. Fuck people trying to break the game so it can't break when it counts, we want a comfortable alpha.
I saw mrx5001 flying, or actually going straight up and suddenly falling.
