Can C4/ Axe/or anything destroy roof or ceilings

I was just wondering how this situation currently stood

Can raiders get through your roof or through your ceilings using anything to destroy them with the current game updates

Yes. Your attackers, if positioned above said ceiling can use a few different methods.

C4 is pretty straight forward, however the likely method is rockets. It will take 4 rockets if your roof is stone or sheet metal. At roughly the same cost as 2 C4, they will be able to target 4 roof panels or walls close enough to their target roof to open up new possibilities for furthering their access. Alternatively, Incendiary rockets are a favorite of mine. They could pop about 6 incen rockets and the fire will melt the floor. If enough fire is left over, it then falls to damage whatever, or whoever may be below.

so what your saying is if the attackers get on my roof they can destroy the flat exterior ceiling/ roof with any method and work their way down

for some reason i always thought that attackers could not destroy the roof ceiling as this ever been the case

It used to be exactly that way a long time ago. But that is one of the many changes the devs have done with this game. Nothing is off limits! You have to protect from above and the sides. But yeah your memory is correct.

Well it's not "any" method. They are restricted to things that boom or burn. Tools are out, so you're safe from pickaxers.

The thing of it is, people usually never choose to go from top downward, and that's assuming you've built your house in a way that allows them access to the roof at all. People with experience in raiding will target the lowest floor, center. It's likely that the cupboard is there, and if not, it exposes weak side walls (can be pickaxed), weak side doors (lock is on the right) (can be hatcheted/bone clubbed), and any ceilings upwards (can be pickaxed). Inevitably, they will find a weak side something that leads somewhere new, which will lead to even more weak side shit.

So in short, people won't come from the top, because coming from bottom center has many more advantageous reasons that will lead to an eventual complete raid (every single room with loot).

If they come from the top you need more tool cupboards I always run around look for ways to raid my whole house. Best defense is more defense "John Madden"

What i disagree with most is the fact that all they have to do is to destroy your foundations and the total house just collapses

for me the foundations should not be destroy-able
