but anyway i was looking at a few threads on the forum called "Game is very quiet" and "There are 4,010 users. 47 online, 29 are surviving right now." and a mod called MaxOfS2D posted on these threads saying "The game is planned to go out on sale in a few weeks — early September, possibly. No fixed date yet. We're not gonna sell while there are some issues that still need to be taken care of." and on the other post he said "The game will be available for sale in the coming weeks." i was wondering is this true or just something to keep the people who are begging for keys quiet?
yes... because a while back they said they were planning to do something fun with the pricing of the game...
then they said that sometime in this month they would do some sales of keys...
and now a mod has said it will be in a few weeks...
im no genius.... but i think they are going to sell some keys
well its about time they released it to the public i have been waiting all summer for it

A whole summer? What a nightmare! I've only been waiting for three years for some news on/announcement of Dawn of War 3. The whole thought of waiting three months or more for Rust must be unbearable!

That's the thing, Rust isn't released. If DOW 3 was in the same situation as Rust is in, being tested to a specific audience, I wouldn't mind at all. The point I was trying to make is the fact that he thinks that waiting a summer/a few months is a considerably long time to wait for a game to be developed, which it isn't.

My biggest issue is when they make stupid posts on what they want in the game or something along those lines and don't have a key.

Gold members are generally people that spend a lot of time on Facepunch, so they are exposed to a lot of idiocy/shitposting and have come to hate how it derails the forum in general.

Honestly, I'm hoping "in the coming weeks" is a lot longer than most of us would assume. The developers are really going to have to increase their pace if they wish to keep up with a general deadline. Quality of the game would no doubt suffer if they were to rush development as well.
You people need to understand that these things take time, and stop being on the edge of your seat for release or complaining about how others can play and you can't. I say this because I'm sure as hell if the game was released now, people would complain how it's buggy, there's not much to do, and all of that garbage when a few weeks back they were literally "DYING" for access.

People are allowed to be judgmental. An Open Forum is literally a place where you write your opinions to be evaluated by others. It's kind of their intended purpose.
