Wipe Request - Rust - Facepunch Forum

Hi all, I know this has been brought up in many other threads but i personally don't think it is clear for others to see. As many of you may know Rust's player count has dropped at certain times of the day when previously they use to be its peek. iand i think it is because there is not much for people to do other than walk around fining one person every 30 mins to shoot at. Everyone has the best base possible and the best gear possible and it is getting slightly more and more boring by the day so i think a solution to the player drop and the having nothing to do would be a Full map/inventory wipe. Also i personally find the game is getting rather laggy it might just be because i am on a wireless connection but about a month ago i was able to stream rust on max setting 1080p with no problem but now i find it near enough impossible. I think it is because of the sheer amount of pointless structures that are around and people giving up on bases as soon as they get raided. I know everyone that has a key should and is testing but the only way to test a game is to play it how it is suppose to be played. So if anyone wants a wipe "AGREE" to this post and also reply say "WIPE" Thanks AJ

Wipe Please!

Why bother? Until something is added to make Kevlar/M4's an hard-to-acquire item, wipes will be useless. It's like playing a game that you've been playing through and through for years and expecting a something new when starting a new game. Yet I agree something should be done against the lag and player drops. The recent update was pretty nice.

Wipe would be sweet :D

Do a wipe and give more keys out... Player count before keys was 800 at the day PSY made a video about it, next day after keys was still 400-600 in matter of weeks it was down to 90 and now its down to 10-30 daily. Before the last wipe there were about 20 online, after wipe, 140 for the rest of the day.

Their goal is to stop wiping, and they are so far succeeding, if you're bored, stop testing. Also, don't sign your own posts, your name is there already.

I'm sorry but I've NEVER recalled a time when there was 800 players online. When the heck was this? Most I've seen is around 120 or 130

A day before it went private, the game was flooded by a large amount of players, I remember seeing 500, perhaps I wasn't on at the spikes, though.

Do you think we should wipe or do you think we should actually fix the problems associated with the server being up for a long time?
