[US Central] Denver JAC's RadTown - Rust

Before anything else, here is a quick overview of the server : Location : Denver, CO Slots : 150 Type : Public Craft Time : 1/2 Sleepers : Yes PvP : Yes Oxide : Basic + PMs + Chat History + MOTD Steam Group : [URL="http://steamcommunity.com/groups/JACRad"]Denver JAC's RadTown[/URL] Server IP : 173.248.172.218:28025 Now that's out of the way : I am actually fairly new to PC gaming, thanks to my group of friends from university, I have been pulled out of the console world. Even my few hours of RUST, as much as I have enjoyed it, I have witnessed the same problems my friends have witnessed, and they have been playing this game for hours on end. So we started our own private 50 man server to play on as the game develops. However, we have many other friends that do not want to moderate a server but wanted a public server they could trust. So here we are, a humble public RUST server where the administrators are happy with living in their private server. We decided to create this one in the center of us all to let our friends and the public enjoy. One of their, and my, biggest complaints have been the massive amounts of admin abuse we have seen along with what comes down to pay 2 win servers. We put in our hard earned money in this server to build a nice community, so you can bet we'd police it. Me and the rest of the administrators, however, do not plan on playing on this server. As of now, we are happy with some of the few public servers we trust and our private server. We are hoping to build a good community with trust since we all have been enjoying a game that has already proven its mettle in early early alpha. We'd certainly like for you to stop by and play for a few hours with our friends, and let us know of any ways we can improve the server, minus a few things : 1) No special admin gifts or help, this is not fair to the others and scripts aside, we cannot help everyone. This excludes legitimate problems like getting stuck. 2) As much as we would like donations, we never plan on implementing donations with in game rewards as this seems to create a advantage for those that do. 3) Nothing that greatly takes away from the original game, Garry makes the rules. Woot server is up and working great!! I've been looking for a good server to settle down and maybe this is the one.

I must say... I am a fan of this server. If I was a little boy and someone asked me if I liked it... I would get really embarrassed and flustered and say " i dont know! Maaaaaybeeee :)"

I usually lurk the forums, registered to say that the community on this server is (so far) really good. Saw some trading going on between groups, some even paid to be allowed access to rad town and the agreement was honored. Worth checking out if you're looking for a server.
