Animal traps-Nothing like setting a trap to catch a bear or even .......a human. Poison blow dart guns- Get hit by one of these and its a slow painful death. Rattle snakes- Get bit and its a sure death in mins. Knife throwing- Who wouldnt love tossin a knife into someones neck? Fist fighting- Please add this one. Would love to knock someone the F out. Tire iron, bat or golf club would make a nice bash weapon. Sand bags- Would be a nice add on to your base. 50cal guns- Protect your base with 50cal guns at each corner. Weather- Snow and rain anyone? Just a few ideas.........
Shit ideas. Coz game need more optimiz now, not a new content. If not optimizing game - server need to wipe after 7-10 days or server die in spikes/lags. Decay system are cool, but need another clean system (sure, rain or snow can do decay faster.. But... I think for this huge map need more optimiz and working about more then 500ppl on server(but i think its unreal for this engine).
Idk, I like the 50 cals. if the were armored. otherwise you'd be a sitting duck. It would be cool for end game base defense. Something hard to work toward. Also make .50 cal ammo very expensive. 2 metal and 6 gp? I also hope they add an EXTENSIVE amount of traps. With levers/switches, etc. Maybe to drop boulders on people? Dart traps?
Think of the practical use of each of these. Why would you want to trap someone rather then just kill them? Interrorgate them? "If you don't tell me I'm going to reduce your health by 1 every second." "If you tell me I'll let you go. (BIG CHANCE. HA)" "If you tell me I won't DDoS you. (Now THAT might work)" What purpose would poison darts serve? I could imagine coating already existent weapons in poison to improve their effects, but not a dart that just causes poison. Rattle snakes seem reasonable- as an adversary to the general populace of the game. Throwing knife would be NICE to have, like a faster, less deadly alternative to the bow. Fist fighting would likely replace the rock. I just don't see the need for fist fighting when you can just smash your enemy's skull inward from square one. Tire iron would be a nice alternative to a pickaxe and rock- like how hatchet is good for getting animals, pickaxe is good for getting resources, tire iron would specialize in killing your enemy. The sandbags actually would be nice. They could serve as waist-high cover, so you can pop over it and easily jump over it. I'd like to be able to pop over a wide cover then sidestep a tall cover in elevated ground engagements. Come on, Those aren't any help to anyone except to be OP'd. "OH HEY MOTHERFUCKERS AT GATE ONE, WHAT DO WE DO?!" "Get the weapon. "Sir, you don't mean...." "Yes. the extremely slow firing high damage and accurate mounted gun that we can get ammo for faster then we can waste, and defends the base better then they can attack it." There was a huge thread on weather, and many people made good points on there, with weather themed loot points, and weather themed animals and colors, etc. Quite interesting. I'll see if I can't find it.
