M4 Rate of fire

It seems like the firerate of the m4 is pretty low, does anyone know what it is ? sounds like it is arround 500 rounds per minute.

I was wondering and I couldnt find any info about it anywhere.

I think it's high enough.
And even if not, where would be the benefit from a higher rate of fire?
The recoil is too extreme.

Heck the M4 isnt even needed in this game. I would honestly be fine with the handcannon, bolt action, pipshotgun, and revolver for now.

They are removing it anyway, or make it extreme hard up to impossible to craft/optain at least.
But that's not the point.

I actually just want stuff like spears.
Maybe something like Chivalry (but without the millions of bugs, please). :v:

Ya i heard they are removing it from crafting and will be a airdrop crate loot or extremely rare find in weapon crates and will not be craft able or research able

That's a way.
But for sure only temporary.
I can imagine they will integrate some different kinds of crafting tables.

From a wooden crafting table with stone tools up to a solid workbench with rare electrical tools (so also your workbench will be a nice raid target).
I would like that, as long the high tiers are hard to obtain and also hard to defend (because everyone want them).

So also you should need different parts for the gun. How some threads explained, even a simple rifle is nearly impossible to craft for a naked guy who saw it on a blueprint.
It should be possible in Rust, but really hard and with a high risc.

Well, I would be happy about more house stuff and features...
