same happening to me if the game is not working we might aswell get a fucking refund i have played rust for so long and this shit has not been working, i manage to play 3mins everytime i join a server and then it crashes

May be that is trouble of modded server? Try to play on unmodded server.
Sounds like the Unity issue that a lot of us are waiting for a fix on - Run with these launch commands and it wont crash anymore, but you'll experience some pretty bad FPS drops.

GuruLord, I had the same problem and pasting that in works 100% fine. Is there any way I could increase the FPS performance? It's so horrible atm..
