I got raided by a few guys then they decided to break all my stairs and put ceillings instead on each floor, and walls too, so now im trapped with some stuff and I can't get out without loosing everything.
What do you think of people doing that kind of stuff while raiding?
It's fine, it's a part of the game, the game is in alpha and this is not an issue at the moment.
They should do whatever they please. If it's not a hack, it's complety fine
It would be fine if only we could break walls with pickaxes, otherwise just being trapped there without any way to get out without losing your stuff is kinda sad

Because using a pickaxe to break wood walls sure is way more effective and logical than using an axe.

Hate to see someone's hard work go to waist when raiders come about.However its every man for themselves,but I think there taking it a bit too far.
For one, if your base has already been raided, you should move to a different location, anyway. If you REALLY like the current spot, spend the materials to make charges and break the walls. After you're done doing that, get raided by the same people the same way, again.

It's not necessarily griefing. Rust is a PvP game, it's not like Minecraft where people break things just for kicks or to get underneath your skin. No, they destroy your house in such ways to disable you and prevent you from becoming a future threat. With that being said, I suggest you move and rebuild your base elsewhere.

IMO griefing someones house beyond repair is a bit of a dick move unless the fellow inside combat logs.

Yep. Although I wouldn't discount crashing with the recent LOD system changes.
Locking somebody in when raiding is seen as a dick move, atleast by me. However, building stairs and secondary paths to your exposed rooms or just to flank you is okay. Your fault for making a security error when building the place.

Its pretty dumb since it ruins for real alpha testers who doesn't have time being on 24/7 to build up a castle with 10 members who spawn camp and raid people's houses and doesn't give a shit about testing if it isn't about getting nerfed or that they lack bazookas, but thats like my opinion.

Bullshit. You don't need a tower to test. You are probably just butthurt because you got raided or because you suck at the game.
Your trapped with stuff after being raided, No.1 you obviously combat Logged no.2 if you CB logged you obviously deserve it

I wouldn't say to much on how the game works right now, you got the key for the game, you registered that key, you read the EULA and started the game, you spawned and surivied for who knows how long, you build things in plain sight for people to take; then you bitch about it?
Threads like this should be removed, I play Eve online, and I know the consiquences : If I fly in space with more then 5,000,000,000 (5 bil) worth of items, I will get killed, and my stuff will be taken.
The moral of the story: Be smart, build somewhere where only you know, and make sure you aren't followed, it might take longer for people to find your stuff, but that is only a deterance, you need to plan and be able to accept losing stuff, specially while you are offline.
I think that, it is how the game works, dont judge other people, look at yourself, combat loggin with all your goodies, I think its a fair trade, if you're going to be a dick about it, and not admit defeat, atleast accept the fact that neither of you, will get the loot, seeing you won't get the loot any way, why log off and risk getting your house fucked up? I for example would never fuck up someones house, after I have raided them, unless provoked, or the person combat logged.

Hmm my friend griefed a bandit clans house with ramps and stuff after they did the same
to our house and I went to have a look latter and they had gotten rid of the grief from their
house no to sure how they did that but yea If they can do it then Maybe there's a way.

You can destroy ramps and staircases, what we did was put ceiling and walls, where ceilings are unbrakable and walls take about 7 c4 I've heard? Only bc he combat logged.
I'm all for raiding and take it like a man when its a fair fight, but when you come at me with 8+ players and its just myself don't rage if I logout instead of engaging. I've only had it happen once, a couple map wipes ago, when I had I only a 1x2, one story house and they walled me off. Luckily I had enough charges to blow the walls.
It's a dick thing to do.
7 or 8 vs 1 is no where near a fair fight and not even worth engaging if your fully equipped.
Now if your a fresh spawn, I love engaging a large group just because its hilarious to see them take out their own guys trying to get at you :)
