..and I don't mean the server.cfg file but the running config.
Normally our server is listed in the community tab. We have no mods running and only changed the value at which airdrops occurs. Last Saturday we got two reports of which kinda looked like the suicide exploit from a while back (which I know is patched). For safety precautions we had fall damage disable for a few hours, after which we enabled it again.
Our server is now listed under the modded tab, and I can't seem to get it back. Is there anyway I can see what our current, running configuration looks like? I am sure I must have made a mistake somewhere, but I just can't find it. I'd rather not restart the server either as we always have quite a lot of people online, unless I have to.
Hey :)
Can you post what hosting company you are using?
I am using HFBServers, have been since early January this year.
Ok,
In the file explorer if you have Oxide installed there will be a folder for that and you need to ensure the config file for that matches your server.cfg file. This is what was causing us issues with ours (also on HFB).
Also you could try uninstalling any oxide plugins and even oxide itself, then re-applying them one by one to see if that fixes the problem for you. At least then you can pinpoint which plug in is giving you the issues(if at all) and you can go from there.
I'll have another quick look at our set up to see if there's anything I've missed that might be causing the issues.
Thank you for your reply, but I have already mentioned we do not run any mods.
Apologies, got mixed up between another thread I was reading.
In that case the server.cfg will be the config that is running. You could try allowing air drops/all settings to be default again and rebooting the server? If that fixes it, then you know it was either the air drop change or the fall damage change that affected it, especially if you haven't rebooted the server again since making those changes.
Lastly, if that doesn't work, post your server.cfg file for people to check, making sure you edit out any information such as rcon password.
If the server is still in the modded list after the restart (which I have no way out of now) I will revive this thread. Thanks
