So wtf happen to the flamethrower that was going to be added?

The week before last week they said it would be ready, then moved to it to last week. And now this week it's still not out? I'm not trying to be an ass, but it kills me when dev's say
"it will be ready next week" then two weeks later, it's just forgotten about. So I just want to know if I should keep my hopes up or not.

As with any kind of flamethrower being added to any game, you should never get your hopes up before you've seen it in action. I can name MAYBE one shooter where a flamethrower wasn't a piece of complete garbage.

Yea, I can't think of a time in rust where I thought a flame thrower would be great. Best case scenario, another means to burn down wood bases and wood walls.
