Is there a way to save the commands you put down in the console?

Because I have been having to put in the same things into the console so I can get better fps all the time since it never saves.

I don't think so.
But you can save them in a .txt and Copy&Paste them.

if you are just using the normal commands to improve your fps, write your own config file.
