NEWBIE to RUST - want to host my own server - question(s)

Hello,

just started playing in last 24 hours - bought 3 licenses for my kids.

we host minecraft servers on a dual socket/quad-core XEON box and I have several class C IP addresses.

Questions:
1. How do I get the sever code/bits?
2. is there a "if you own a server" FAQ/rules?
3. can it be private/invite only or do I have to share (probably in FAQ) ;)

Any guidance to getting bits and do/don't is appreciated!

At this time you cannot host a server by yourself. You have to go through a hosting company.
