Since the last patch, our server has been crashing a lot. Anyone else having this problem?
Server hosted by HFB.
Are you using any mods?
Are you using any mods?
Rust++ 1.5.3
Yes. No mods used. With Mutiplay.

How many crashes do you get on your no mod server?
2-3 a day when we have 50 players on. Since the last patch we get large cpu spikes which sometimes cause the server to crash. Other times it's the memory leak, although that usually gives us 24 hours+ before a restart is needed.
Here is a graph for my server over the past week.

As you can see, cpu spikes are crazy.
Well, I am using Oxide through HFB and mine is crashing too. I thought it was the mods causing it, but if you have the same issue with no mods, then I'm not sure. Must be the most recent patch.
look up on trello, there is a server error causing crashes.
yup and weird stuff happen when it crashs -.- anyway we need the patch hope we can get it tonight or tomorrow

Which I guess is causing the mass amount of mini rollbacks.
Lots of restarts here due to high CPU usage. I've tried wiping and running only vanilla and it still seems to happen. Currently running on FPSPlayers.
Well, I'm sure you understand when I say I sure that I am glad it's happening to you too.
same here. server is super laggy, boot people off and restarts quite a bit over the last several days. also using HFB, Oxide 1.14
same here. Running Rust++1.5.3
With 50k objects it just crashes every hour. After wipe, with about 24k objects, it only crashed once a day. Running a vanilla server with ~120 people online at all times.
cant even get on my server at all now. this is nuts.
HFB is super shit from what I hear.
The server I'm curently playing on also have some crashes.
Annoying, but it only happened while I'm safe.:P
I would like to know if this is a problem with HFB or other providers as well.
its more likely all the GSP servers.
I had 2-3 restarts a day after the patch before i got ddos'ed today.
Yes FPS players and the isp is force rebooting us at times now were hoping a wipe might buy us a few days of relief

I'm on FPS using Rust++. Wiped world then about 9 hours later I got emails saying it spiked to 15% and was getting restarted. So no, even wiping the world didn't stop the restarts.
And the CP and server is down anyway. Waste of money.
This wouldn't be a problem if we could host on our own dedicated hardware.

You running Mods ?
My server is running no mods and i can report overly high CPU usage but not crashing!
and HFB = Auto bad in my book

Not entirely, the high CPU issue would be prevalent on any machine. I've literally had a Rust server use an entire 16 core machine to the max, so you really do have to restart them.
The world wipes are probably Rust itself renaming your save file to .sav.old, and you'd have to undo that change in FTP. CPU spikes and restarts is TCAdmin, and for some reason all the GSPs like to use TCAdmin, even though it's really bad.

CPU usage is an issue, but I would be incharge of the restarts. My server, any time I look at usage, is around 5%. I wipe about every 11 days. It seems to only spike for a second but that is still enough for a restart. It pisses every player off. I used to get about 30 peak a day now it's down to about 10 who stuck around.

Edit: Curious, how did you get rust on a personal 16 core machine to test that?
And on this 16 core machine, was it a dedicated box or a VM?
