I've noticed that occasionally when building, I'll place an element that I can't demolish. These are my own buildings, built from the ground up, with or without a cupboard. Building is not blocked. This doesn't apply universally to all my buildings, only certain ones. I can't find any logic to which ones are affected.
I know there's some kind of timeout after placing an element (such as a floor or wall), during which it can't be demolished at all. But hours or days later, I still can't demolish the element. That option is greyed out in the wheel.
Is there something I'm missing here, something that would prevent me from using a hammer to demolish my own structures?
You can only demolish a building when you're standing in the influence of your cupboard, and if it's not already being demolished.
I'll double-check, but I'm pretty sure I was. I'll try a de-auth / re-auth and see if that makes a difference. Maybe I forgot the cupboard entirely.
I remember isses like parts not appearing as well, which was resolved with relogging. Try that as well.
