Never heard of New Caladonia before.. Hade to Google that. That there's even internet there!
what would also be handy is to have the information displayed in the console when you're getting the error message.
not to be rude, but so many people come on the forums pretending to not hack it is assumed that you have until we see your steam id with a clean record. yours looks clean:)
it might be a server ban though. as penworth said, what is the info in console? and does the disconnect happen with your normal server, or every server? as much useful info as possible will help you get a solution.
For fuck's sakes, everyone, "Connection failed" does not mean a ban. Shut up about bans. :|
Especially not VAC bans. That message is always Facepunch_Connector_Vac_Banned.
Do you have any security software installed?

Try disabling Avira temporarily and see if that helps.

You were one of the two people who impulsively reported this thread and why I am here. Don't make a post just to project your stupidity onto other people again.

But i dont know why its only Rust . I can play TF2 , Call Of Duty ect , But i cant play Rust . So sad :/
Open up a command prompt, and type this command:
ping 119.252.189.37
The results should look something like this:
Pinging 119.252.189.37 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 119.252.189.37: bytes=32 time=213ms TTL=111
Reply from 119.252.189.37: bytes=32 time=215ms TTL=111
Reply from 119.252.189.37: bytes=32 time=216ms TTL=111
Reply from 119.252.189.37: bytes=32 time=212ms TTL=111
Ping statistics for 119.252.189.37:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 212ms, Maximum = 216ms, Average = 214ms
However, it may also show something like:
Pinging 119.252.189.37 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Ping statistics for 119.252.189.37:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
Or some combination of the two. The two things that matter are the received count (we want to see 4) and the ping time (time=XYZms). If we get 4 back and the ping isn't too bad, Rust is being blocked/interfered with by the system somehow. Like, a firewall.
Ok wait

I'm having the same problem, everything is identical, I played fine for two days and then I came home and couldn't log in to any server anymore. My two friends are still playing on the same server we were on and I just can't connect.
Unless it's some new bug, something on your system is blocking Rust. Look in your Programs and Features list (aka Add/Remove Programs if you're familiar with Windows XP) for any security software you may have forgotten about.
Also, for future reference, if you right-click in the command prompt window, you can choose a special right-click menu option that will allow you to mark text for copy-paste. In English, it's "Mark", but I don't know what it is in the French-language version. Just select that menu option, then left-click and drag over the text you want to copy, and then click again. It'll automatically be copied and ready to paste.
That'll save you having to take a screenshot of your whole desktop and then editing out the rest of the screen.
I going to look but i dont what can block my Rust
For some reason, temporarily disabling Mcafee real time scanning allowed me to log back in again.
I dont know what software can block my Rust :/ SO SAD
Are you willing to uninstall Avira completely to see if it's the problem? Some security software doesn't fully disable no matter what you do except uninstall it.
Obviously, you'll be reinstalling it later unless you choose to switch to a different one.
Try my solution :) http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1407888

Why did nobody suggest checking ports?
Use http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to check port 29045.
Why did nobody suggest checking ports?

Because ports matter on the server, not the client. You don't need to open listening ports on your firewall to play on a server.
Hum so ? another solutions ? please
I'm having the same problem on oficial server US East Coast 1.
