• Good Hosting Company for RUST?

What's a good company to order a server from? I was thinking about FPSplayers.com but I see a lot of complaints. I'm looking for a locations like NY.
Honestly there are complaints about all of them, especially HFB lately. I still have my HFB server, I have my qualms with them but my server is generally very stable (even if the TCAdmin isn't). Plus it's so cheap and I can have it hosted close to where I live... works out well enough for me. [editline]9th January 2014[/editline] As far as I understand it, just stay away from Multiplay. I've heard more bad things about them than HFB.
Nitrous Networks is notoriously unreliable. HFB had a good reputation until they leaked oxide server files, leading to a big dispute which is still currently unresolved. They've also been having a lot of DDoS issue of late. There are a few others, but honestly I'm waiting for Vilayer to start hosting rust before I buy a server. Vilayer is, without a doubt, the best and most professional server hosting company I've used. They always have someone online to help you, respond rapidly to any sort of DDoS attack, have very little downtime, and very little lag, in my experience. They've been trying to be able to get in touch with the Facepunch crew to allow them to host Rust servers, though they haven't been able to make any headway thus far. They remain optimistic, however. In the meantime, HFB is probably the best current option imo.

HOWEVER, anything within the realm of "communication" from said company is, rather lackluster. So much so I can't decide anymore if I want to keep them or go with another company for hosting.
I'm only looking to get a 100 slot and FPS is looking good to me.
Don't even waste your time with HFB right now. They have about the same transparency as Valve and nothing is working right at the moment. FPS is where I am looking to go next.
fps is crap! I'd chose hfb issues over fps down every other day issues
They are all bad. Playrust is overpriced.
Multiplay is the way to go. They are professional, offer good support, best control panel of any server provider out there. I would recommend them 100% for Rust servers, almost no downtime.

Their ticket response times were 10-15 hours.. now it's more like a day or more IF you hear back at all. Can't use mods with them... no ftp access... tons of downtime... endless nightmare... stay away.
I've been using PlayRust.EU for quite some time, and I'm happy with them, also had other gameservers from them previously.
Can someone explain why FPS is bad? I am currently looking to switch to them
Can someone explain why FPS is bad? I am currently looking to switch to them
I use FPS and find them perfect. I get compliments on our lag free server. Granted.. every now and then there might be a hiccup for a min but other than that it runs perfect. I get regular emails from them with updates regarding rust & the server. I recommend them all the way. P.S. they just reduced their prices

I'm looking to order a server this weekend from their NY location. How long does it take them to get the server up and running? I'm still looking into Multiplay also
I use FPS and I can't faut them. When i have tickets created they respond in a timely manner.
How long did it take for them to setup your server?
I have a Multiplay server and no issues so far. The server setup was instant aswell.
Playrust.eu Works perfect Provide Oxide for mods etc
Playrust.eu Works perfect Provide Oxide for mods etc
Playrust.eu imo are way over priced and only do at least 200 slot servers , its way to many if only looking for a server for you and some friends to play on and to escape the admin abuse on other peoples servers. if they done 100 slot id have one now.
Loving my FPS Server - Way better than HFB. The_Rusty_Server|DoorShare|FriendFinder|PVP/SLP| net.connect 23.239.112.210:28105 Thank you! & Join Now!!!
One thing is for sure, what you pay is what you get, I get scared every time I go mess with the HFB panel since it takes usually 2 mins to load a page and I end up giving up, so don't go for the cheap.
