An idea for a solution on cheaters and bad admins.

2 huge problems today.

[B]Cheaters:[/B] VAC dosn't do it's job as good as it have to. Its easy for a cheater to switch server when he gets banned somewhere. (I know that cheating for the moment is a bit harder then before, but trust me it wont be like this for long)
[B]Corrupt admins:[/B] Admins play themselves and benefit themselves and their team. (As of today this is way to easy to get away with, if the server realize what the admin is doing he'll just have to swipe and restart the server and go at it again)

[I]I know! From my last post i learned that their are servers with great admins and nice players. But the way I see it they are way to hard to find.[/I]

A database where players and admins that misbehave can be exposed:
[B]Players:[/B] Rate players and expose cheaters. It would make it harder for them to just join a new server after they've cheated ones. Link players to their steam ID.
[B]Admins:[/B] If admins are ever being caught of being corrupt. Expose them so that people don't have to waste their time with an admin that is more interested in hes own/his teams well being then the well being of the server as a whole.

This is just an Idea and i realize it aint perfect, perhaps someone could help me perfect this thought.
At the current state the game is really hard to play. 60 hours of gaming the last 7 days have all been for nothing. I really enjoy the game but this is putting the game to a serious test, is it really worth all the time I or someone else invest into it?
One problem with this idea is that rust is full of people raging, witch will make people make false claims that people and admins misbehave.

As far as abusive admins, there really isn't anything that can be done other then move to another server. This is a a problem in all player ran servers across all games. You start a service where people can list or accuse servers/admins of abuse and you will see 10 false accusations for every 1 truthful accusation. There really isn't anything to do about it. 10 years ago playing counter strike this was a problem when you have a game where a player can run a server for a mere 20$ a month it is going to be a problem.

I think you have an incorrect idea about how VAC works. It doesn't just ban them from any given server, it bans them from the whole game. Makes their $20 purchase worthless. It also takes time but is incredibly effective.
As far as admins goes... there's nothing anyone can do about it.
They PAY for their server, they can do whatever they want with it. Your best bet is to ask some questions when you first join a new server and get some ideas about how it's managed before investing too much time into it.
As far as ratings go, there is already a project in the works for submitting banned players, it is being created by a user on this forum.
Rating admins is near useless, since people always rage against an admin for the tiniest little things, almost every admin would be rated down for stupid stuff that probably isn't verifiable.
