The game has become almost unplayable for me. I get around 15 frames on average and the game frequently freezes on me. This is really troubling for me because my computer is up to par to play the game. I should be running it on max settings getting 60fps or at least close to that. Instead I struggle to play on the lowest. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

so anyone have any idea why the game is so unbelievably crappy for me? with those specs I should be getting more then 20fps on the lowest settings.....
Most people here are in the same boat, it comes from two major sources near as anybody can tell. Biggest issue right now is a memory leak that's basically doubling/tripling the amount of memory the game takes up (I play on ultra low settings and it's jumped from taking up 3 GB a few months ago to 8 GB now). Second to that is just that the game's become incredibly unoptimized as they've crammed in more and more redundant items and features.
Nothing we can do about it except tell the devs to focus more on performance before they waste the next couple months trying to cram the game full of complicated vehicle mechanics or an electrical system.

You getting 15 FPS directly for loading, or does it deteriorate over time?
