Hey all!
We are UK-Rust, we have only been running a week - but already we have had quite a few people come and go, sure some people leave the server and dont come back but the majority of those are banned by our implemented anti-cheating system... Anyway:
We are a new UK based Rust Server serving for the many with the Oxide Plugin. Here are a list of features that we currently have on our server:
* Regular Airdrops
* Death Handler - We have configured this not to spam chat but to show who has killed who - turned off for animals - no one needs to know you killed a little bunny rabbit :D
* Location/GPS system with RustNuts - Got Lost once in a while? So have i - this is why I have chosen to implement the /location chat plugin
* Airdrop Inbound - Fed up of trying to find where that last airdrop landed? Now you can see how far it has landed from you and what direction.
* We kick all that try to advertise their own server whilst discarding the message so that no spam is introduced into the chat
* You are able to recover some, but not all, of your used arrows on killing animals
* Decay is set to 1 week so you have plenty of time before your building disappears into thin air
* UberArena - No explanation needed really - currently has small but useful prizes (THIS HAS BEEN REMOVED FRO THE TIME BEING DUE TO CPU SPIKES)
* Starter Kit - Up to 4 times, you can claim a Hunint Bow, 10 Arrows, 4 Raw Chicken Breast, Stone Hatchet, Sleeping Bag and a Camp Fire
* No need to worry about people that have been VAC Banned - these will automatically be kicked (there is a threshold on this to be kind to the older VAC Banned - if you aren't happy with it or cant get on, feel free to contact me )
* Door Sharing
When we do have enough people coming on we will be starting a fight night. What this is is basically around 10 people stripped down to bandages and a rock and we let them loose to fight for a prize - prizes are TBD but previously I can tell you...there was C4 in that prize pool. This comes with live music and depending on the night is also streamed via our twitch channel.
This server is only a 50 person server at the moment but dont worry, if it gets close to this I will more than likely upgrade it.
PS: We do have a few Anti-cheat systems in place with auto-bans for the culprits.

Although we do try have admins asactive as possible we are in need of more in order to try have admins available 24/7

UPDATE: We have now enabled the removal tool for all players, however - to prevent any floating houses removal of pillars and foundatiions has been disabled

We now offer packages in our Donor shop and have multiple videos uploaded on our youtube channel :D
We now use warnings and strikes for bans and kicks - 3 strikes and you are out! (this system excludes any hackers found on the server). I wonder if any other servers would like to merge into our community >.> :D
Hey guys, Thinking of putting a player market up on the server so you can swap and trade items without being shot :3 just wondered what people would think about it - and we are now hiring admins
UPDATE: Change of port! - now use "net.connect server.uk-rust.com:28515" - had server host move us to a less busy server for a performance boost :D
UPDATE: Arena disabled for the time being - causing server crashes due to bugs in the programming =( Sorry!

UPDATE: We have been reconfiguring our mods to allow our server to perform better! On our 2 month and still no hackers beating our server :)
UPDATE: Now trialling new player protection for maximum of 10 minutes. If you hit someone however you will lose that protection!
In other news:
I've been thinking.....Feel fee to hate me saying this.....but do you have current server lacking in numbers and that you feel you are wasting money? If you fancy merging servers into one to end up with abigger community with more players then send a pm and we could possibly arrange something. When we can, I am looking to purchase a dedicated server to host it on so we are not limite d by the resources of Multiplay...

Don't bother with this server. Utter waste of time.
Played for a couple of weeks, made myself a house, got the occasional airdrop, etc, etc.
Admins seemed very good, friendly and helpful - thought I'd found a decent server for regular play.
Saw an admin running around invisible with just his name showing, mentioned that he could use a special character for his IGN to make himself totally invisible.
The guy took offence to me pointing this and proceeded to harass me, kick me, kill me, C4 my house, and eventually ban me. Nice.
Total waste of time. Its a shame that one power mad idiot like this can ruin it for everyone else.

Now I have already spoken to dave about this but for the rest of you, basically an upset happened on the server - this was seen, the admin was spoken to and I have apologized on his behalf.
There was no C4 spawned by the admin (no admins have RCON access - so all is logged) - dave has been unbanned. This post had no influence on my stated actions.
