Server's wipe again ? - Rust

My Server Just wiped I take all Fucking day to make Base and now its fucking wipe! Edit. In contrast to my post made in anger, I fell i must explain myself more thoroughly. You see We just had a major wipe on friday the 23rd of Jan. Now it would seem we had another wipe this morning resulting in the loss of 10+ hours of work. Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.

With the new update this morning the world checksum is different so the server is not able to load the previously saved file, forcing it to start a new world. sadly..

Honestly, i understand your frustration but to actually believe anything you are building is going to have any significance then you are wasting your time. The game is going to have so many patches and updates being released your 10+ hours worth of work is going to be wiped again and again. KISS while the game is in alpha and even early beta. (kiss = keep it simple stupid)

Anyways, Saves not being compatible is nothing new, even though "It's not supposed to be happening as much" it's still happening, deal with it for now, it's anoying, sure, but don't expect too much.

My anger comes from the fact that if i knew the server was gonna wipe the very next day after a wipe i would not have invested my 10+ hours like i did. and keep it simple stupid may be your life motto and i'm sure it works for you but i like to build big and extravagant. and when the server wipes after a fresh wipe i can't do this properly.

Secondly, big and extravagent is great. Just not when there is no point in doing so because said work is going to be erased. Here's an idea, assume every update is going to wipe the game and then you wont be mad and will live a much longer stress free life.

ugh, ANOTHER server wipe? This is outrageous! If they're going to have all these weird things and sudden server changes, they should label this version "experimental" or something.

If they don't wipe them then how the fuck do you expect them to test map generation?

Water Fix patch should be up over next day or so, I am expecting another wipe :/ No one is happy with wipes but they are a necessity ATM.
