For example, door sharing. Everyone wants door sharing, so why not just make it a part of the game instead of needing a server mod to make it happen. At the very least make it a in game option. As it is now, the mods always need to be updated so they continue working.

Because the developers want the game to go a certain way. If they bent over for each suggestion, we would have creative mode by now.

Our feedback is meaningful to a point. Garry has talked a lot about the philosophies being used to develop Rust. You may wish to look into this. He has touched on door sharing and mods specifically. You will find a lot of obvious features are either missing be design, are currently being considered or are in development.
