Hi guys !
Like u see it my Topic my Question is Easy!
Can i Wipe my Server without loosing learned Things of players?!
My People Highly Recommand this!
is it possible anyway?
sry for my english haha
greets
Yes:
Delete the rust_island*.sav files but NOT the userdata folder.
This will wipe buildings and deployables on the map but NOT players' BPs or inventories.
The only problem with this is that people will put all of their valuables into their inventories and it won't get wiped when everything else does. Giving some people a major head-start.
I just did this!
Depending on who your provider is, delete the .sav file that is called ie. rust_island.sav
This will delete the world, and reset it! they only thing that will be kept then is your blueprints, and your inventory/gear !!! So I advice you to fill your bags with items/gear/weapons and all, before you do this!
I filled my inventory with my bullets and metals and some gear before resetting the world map! After wipe I was already in a good starting position for a new base!
if it is to prevent all those duping items .. don't announce it ... just do it on an early daytime, where ppl normally would grind or do other things except raiding!!!

This seems sketchy to me...
If you don't want to be tagged as a badmin, I wouldn't suggest giving yourself a big headstart and then saying "but don't announce it."
Keeping the recipes leads to a major advantage aswell..
Imagine already being able to craft explosives on a server where you dont see many airdrops... Or metal houses.. everything.
Edit: I do believe wiping a server is a good thing (from time to time), it makes you able to restart again, and this time you might be able to get your revenge on the guy that kept killing you and your team just because he started 2 weeks before you. (Not to mention that eventually the server is so full of crap and guns and everything that it just doesn't matter anymore what you lose)

Have I missed the wipe announcement on the official servers?

It's more like .. don't bring items, more than some ammo, food and your gear! That's what most ppl would have in their inv, when logging out! Then wipe it!
Now you are at aprox the same level as the otherz

It just seems more fair to just wipe everything, imo.
