• Rust updates every day?

I don't understand. THey said that Rust would only update Weekly unless you're in the beta branch (which I checked and am sure Im not apart of) but yet everyday for the past few days, I open up rust and it updates. doesn't even ask. am I the only one?
this happens to me as well
Perhaps the pace of development has accelerated. If you're opted into the experimental in the Betas tab, you will be receiving every update as it's pushed, so look at @RustUpdates for an idea of the update frequency when you're on the raw-build branch. They have force experimental downloads as well, so no matter which you pick at start-up you will get the legacy copy as well as experimental. It's still your choice which to play however. (I have my settings so I opt out of beta's as well) I don't really see that much of a hindrance though as long as they keep legacy around until experimental is in an advanced playable state.
Its just the live updates that they are doing to the experimental branch
But I'm opted for the weekly update, not the beta / stream updates.
But I'm opted for the weekly update, not the beta / stream updates.
May just be important updates, or a bug with the weekly update repo.
It's an update every. day. [editline]23rd July 2014[/editline] They should either report it to us, or wait until the weekly update. I'd rather not have to sit for a little bit and wait for it to update. Intrusive, no. Annoying, yes.

Also, I've answered your thread regarding your hunger game's server and whatnot. :)
You're mad they update lots? The updates take about 10seconds too lol.

Seriously what are you even whining about steam offers a perfect solution to your problem. You realize you can do it by a per game basis right?
.... I'm such an idiot.
