Looking for a permanent home - Rust

[B][I]Hello all my name is alunamoon and i will soon rule the world but before i get started on that i need a server to call home im in a small group ranging from noob like me to experienced and to accommodate all we have a few things we are looking for in a server the 2 main ones are on top C4 to be craftable and explosives (white goo or sticky stuff) to be found in loot crates and or red animals location plug-in door sharing active admins no durability cause no one wants to deal with that group creation mod (if not then its ok) we would love to call a server home so please post your server and if you have a link to rules and description that would be great thank you all and have fun surviving [/I][/B] [highlight](User was banned for this post ("Please don't bold your entire post!" - NiandraLades))[/highlight]

However, I do not and shall not do so, for the reason I started this server was to take a stand against the countless "no admin abuse" servers that really meant "no admin abuse that you will know of". I am nearly always available and run my server democratically. Any and all input you and any other player may have is valuable to me and I recommend you share it with me! PS: Anyone can join, not only OP. Just be warned that gameplay is prolonged, don't expect to be instantly gratified!

If he is new to the forum here, he should check the stickys anyway and he could see them there...

You'll be waiting a while.[/QUOTE] From my experience, the amount of people who read stickies on forums is always a decent chunk of guests and new members...low visibility / traffic to the server sub forum defeats its purpose, no? I will try posting this in suggestions and see how that goes, but those are my 2 cents. EDIT: See above poster. I believe lots share this sentiment.

Chances are it will be used against you successfully before you have a chance to make it yourself. Unless you avoid confrontation and don't want to engage at airdrops. -- Just as a side comment, I don't spend a lot of time in the FP forums but I have played many games that were forum/community-heavy for many years. It would be nice if everyone read the sticky posts and all the little borderline trivial minutiae right away... but in the case of new posters, a simple explanation or point in the right direction is all that's required. It's professional, empathetic and efficient. [B]Banning[/B] people for potentially several days for posting in bold? That's a lazy and apathetic response. If we want the visitors to this intellectual cesspool to start posting like adults, let's try to start moderating them as such.

I agree, it is, at best, worth a warning, or for a mod to simply edit the user's post. :) A ban is required when a second infraction occurs...at least I would find that more reasonable. After all, ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse.

There are 30,000 monthly active members and four thousand people browsing FP [B]right now[/B]. The site's been going for 10 years and has 26 million plus posts. You post like an adult here or you don't post here for long. You're expected to read the rules and exercise common sense when posting. I'm not a mod so it's not up to me, but it seems like people are unfamiliar with how things get done around here.

A great rule is 'Make your first post count.'

Not nay saying him, but I am starting to find it repetitive. In other news, OP is no longer banned, and will probably never come back to face punch being a banned one post wonder. Upset, you don't need to post ads in each thread. Your server will self populate if it has a certain number of active players.
