Hello,
May seem a daft question but on the legacy rust you used C4 to gain access to someones house,
How do you gain entry to raid a house on the new rust?
get 3 people or more, get hatchets, find a weak spot on the wall where it doesnt regen as fast, keep hitting it till it falls down.
Also look for cupboard sheds. These are usually 1x1 sheds that contain the tool cupboard. They're outside the building and usually very close. Hatchet through one of these, authorize yourself on the cupboard, use your hammer to wreak havoc, then come back a day later when the building owner is complaining about hackers or admin abuse.
You're welcome. :)

We had 4 people with hatchets and couldn't get a wall to go down. We tried combos with hatchets, hammers, and salvaged axes. We only tried wood though.

there are weakspots on some walls, some regen faster than others.

We tried 4 different buildings and systematically worked our way around with no luck. I wonder if it's actual weak spots or some other random thing that affects it?

Do folks actually put their primary cupboard in those sheds? I figured they were backups or extenders to prevent building the diving boards to raid.

I think that's the original idea, and it's not a horrible strategy in that regard. But I think some players saw other players doing it, and thought it was clever because reasons. "Aha," they think. "If my base gets raided, they won't get my cupboard! I truly am too smart for my own good!"
