In legacy, I always loved the music that played in game. It really added to the atmosphere and environment. Garry needs to add it to the new rust. Right now the music only plays when you are in the menu.
I think music in games really adds depth and personality.
If Rust Had some battle music when ever you got hit or hit someone would be very exhilarating. Than after the combat ended or you ran far enough away the music would tone down to a peaceful forest theme or something dependent upon your location.
Also if you got a blue print or were the first person at an airdrop glorious music from the heavens above would play.
Yes.

Totally agree, dont know why so many people disagree...
Only so long as the music remains ambiance. Especially around night-time, I love for the game to be dramatic and tense.
As far as I remember, I think Garry said they couldn't add the track to the actual game due to some bug with Unity 5.
I really miss it as well, but I'm sure it'll be added back in at some point.
I hate music in games like Rust. If I want to play in a musical I'll go play Rock Band or something.
Seriously though, I always turn off music in games like this. I need to hear every little whack of an axe, footstep, or gunfire that I can.
Here's what would be fun though. Add a craft-able jukebox that accesses you're music on the computer and let's you play songs on it. It would only play audio in a similar radius as people's voices when talking. You could play music in your house, and build jukeboxes outside of people's houses to torture them!
I'm all for music, as long as I can turn it off. Are we now spawning with a rock, torch, and salvaged iPod?
I'm waiting for the ambient noise. Wind, water, grass and trees.. it's so dead sounding right now, like you're in a large studio.

Champions Of Regnum does this. It's called combat music. It's incredibly annoying, the tune gets old and boring fast, and everybody, absolutely everybody, turns it off. If there wasn't a tickbox to disable combat music, I probably would have gone mad.
