• [New idea] - Sleepers

So the main reason why sleepers were added into the game was so when people are getting raided/attacked they took all their important, and worthy stuff onto their inventory and logged off so the attackers werent able to take it from them. Now, we have full on sleepers so the body is left there on the ground and because of hackers and legs etc. sticking out of the wall of the house its not the best idea and everyones doesnt like it. So i was thinking, when the game goes onto steam there can be a system where when you log off your body falls asleep and is on the floor for 1 hour, giving raiders and attackers enough time to come into the house however, your body dissapears after 1 hour keeping most of your stuff safe and keeping a balance by letting the weaker players have a chance of keeping their stuff in their tiny houses and reducing the chances of completely getting demolished by the big boi's.
I actually really like that idea
No I disagree. For one just don't log near a wall until it gets better and for hackers they will get fixed soon enough. As for this whole helping new players thing is well junk really. This is a survival game and when I was new I had no problem because I used my brain and not light a torch at night, being cautious of who is roaming me and not running around my base attracting who knows etc.. so tough luck really in my opinion and I play on my own and I am not finding it hard. If you actually think on how to survive better then expecting the game to become more easy well then you can become good at this game.
I have no problem surviving dude, but i can see how noobs will find it frustrating, however i do respect your opinion. Thats fine.

I was making in reference to new players and making the game easy makes it very boring and if the stakes are high well it really gets you into the game like I love night, I never turn my screen up so I see nothing and just listing and seeing flashes here and there makes you really pay attention if you see what I mean. But hey all new people for good survival games is never gonna start out easy but if people start giving them advantages well they are never going to experience the real game.

thats is a terrible idea there wont be hackers for much longer the sleeper system si a great idea all the little baby are crying cause they cant combat log anymore
if this would be implemented i'd say like 4-5 hours atleast, so you aren't online while you sleep irl etc
Sleepers is kind of fantastic in theory. Hackers and glitchers are the only reason I don't think it's amazing currently, and merely an evolution of online gaming. In terms of surviving, I have no issues surviving the night. I build smart and go to sleep in a smart position as to avoid getting my feet hatcheted. I also sleep behind no less than 2 metal doors if possible, and out of sight from the ground if possible. The hardest part of sleepers is the first hour. Where you have to find metal door blueprints and collect enough to craft a decent structure and metal door.
This idea has been discussed many, many times already. Except that it was 5-10 hours in comparison to your 1 hour. It's basically a 50/50 split. I personally enjoy Sleepers as it is right now, because it makes raiding so much more fun. I always get excited when I find people sleeping outside. But I've run into way too many Bandits and tend to join inactive clans, so I might have to revisit PvE.
