How about the longer you play the longer your beard will grow? So you can have something to boast about against other players instead of just more advanced gear and see who the real veterans are within a server. The beard will go away if you die and only grow when you are actually playing. I don't know if this is possible when there is any kind of player look customization in the future or female characters. Maybe in the customization you can choose wat sort of beard you can grow? I don't know. Would be nice to see something different on longer living players than just bigger guns. This is probably just another random dumb idea of me but I'd like to hear other people's opinion about this.

i like the idea as well. Also something i'd rather see in game is different type of weapons.. I like the idea and making of the current weapons yet i feel like full automatic weapons are a bit to much.. It's a crafting game and none of the current methods of crafting rings a bell to me like.. HEY, let's make a full auto AK or thompson.
I'd rather see the 1 shot guns more, different styles:
- short sawed off shotgun
- musket pistol
- musket rifle (with/without bayonet)
- ...
More variating styles of melee weapons would be great too!! (talking about clubs, maces, ...)

beards have been suggested a few times previously, but i still love it, gives us something small that doesn't effect gameplay directly to reward surviving for ages:) bit hard to think what would happen for female characters, maybe long hair? (it was suggested previously that they could get a muff beard, but not sure anyone wants that XD)
I had a similar idea except the longer you survived the longer your dick would grow lol :) Then the obvious counterpart for women would be bigger breasts I guess. Beard should be part of character customization imho.
