my three boys and I have been hosting Minecraft servers for a while now and found Rust to be our new distraction so we setup a server on FPSPlayer. our goal is something fun for us and our friends and the odd stranger who we might let loose.
what I want some guidance on are:
Q - can you create structures that can not be destroyed?
Q - Suggest server add-on? I hear Rust++ is a good one?
basically we are thinking of things like PVP only at night, safe areas like you would do in Minecraft with world edit so you can't destroy.
Any other advice would be great!
1 - no you can't. maybe using oxide + some plugin you can
2 - my server is running rust++ and I like it and the players like it too.
i would personally go with oxide. oxide has more plugins that work well with other oxide plugins. and as far as structures that dont decay i wouldn't reconmend it. the purpose of decay to to keep lag down so you on't have execessive buildings, but you can make the decay longer.
