• When do you think they'll fix Melee?

Do you believe that fixing melee should be a priority?. There is so many things that need to be worked on but perhaps they should consider fixing what they currently have in the game as opposed to adding new stuff. The game is currently in a playable state. It's as close to "Legacy" as it's ever been. Unfortunately there is a huge flaw in one of the core aspects of the game. The melee and combat in general (even with guns/bows) is terrible. It mostly has to do with the absurd lag. Whether you are getting hit with a spear from 15 yards out, or getting nailed in the back while running away from a guy who is 20 steps behind you, it needs to be fixed. Even with a gun in your hand, you are not safe. I've seen guys bring guns to airdrops and end up losing them before he even ever had a chance. Melee combat is dangerous and unpredictable. The dangerous part is not the problem. In fact, I would enjoy seeing Rust turn into more of a Melee combat game then gun-play like we've seen in Legacy, but due to it's unpredictable nature it's a mess. I don't know exactly what needs to be fixed as I am not a programmer, but I believe it has to start with the lag first and foremost. Also, it's been awhile since I've played Legacy but were you able to run right through people as well?. It seems kind of broken when you can just run right through the other player while fighting. It's as if everyone is a ghost. If people could "bump" into each other instead of running right through each other that alone would help combat a lot. Just my thoughts. If they decide not to work on melee in the next coming weeks, I'll probably still play Rust, but in my opinion it's the biggest weakness with the current build of the game.
