How to not get banned? I need your advice - Rust

rb | n0va here, the guy that brought you "RUST TUTORIAL - HOW TO NO RECOIL WITHOUT HACKS" Some of you might recognize me. Long story short, my team and I get banned from every single survival server we play on. We keep the poop talking to a minimum, and are generally really nice with everyone. Only thing we do that would be considered to be assholeish is that we KoS everyone and people call hacks. Then we get cool with the admins, then after a while (take 1-3 days) you see chat going rampant being spammed constantly; something along the lines of. "How are these rb guys not banned yet? Oh its cause the admins are s**t" I joined my friend's server and he ACTUALLY BANNED ME. I went on his ventrilo and fortunately, he was bluntly honest with me and said "I'm sorry but you're too good for this server. 2 people already rage quit because you killed them. I'm not going to have a dead server because of that. Sorry but you're just going to have to find another server" Then I asked him "Do you know any servers that are good?" and he said "I know of one that has a really cool admin but he would probably ban you for the same reason." So I need your help =\ What do I do to prevent being banned? I simply want to join a populated server that I can enjoy and just play the game but every single one we get banned. It's excruciatingly frustrating how we have to start out over and over and over and over................................................ again plis help

This is the curse of being a good player with plenty of skill. It's called "pub-stomping". You play until either everyone leaves or you get banned for "cheating". I take much pleasure in getting banned from a server just simply for having more skill. It's a compliment, really, getting called a hacker. tl;dr: Avoid confrontations, keep KoSing to a minimum (shoot when shot at), and get to know the admins.

I am unsure of the purpose of this thread. It sounds like you want to stroke your EGO of being (possibly) better than most 12 year old playing or you are bragging that you're "soo good you get banned from every server! Brapp!". If this truly is the case and you enjoy KoS (Which is your right, you should enjoy unlimited power) Don't change a thing.. Don't compromise your gameplay experience to fit it with not so hardcore PvP players. My advice to you would be.. If you're lying and you do have l33t hacks try turning them off and playing to see if you're still l33t. If you don't - Find a server with a clan of equal skill to your own and beat on them.. Thus having a constant war and enjoy the spoils. This was not an accusation of calling you hacker i am aware that server admins out there can not administer a server correctly. It was just a mere comment on the off chance you do.

Straight up.. this thread was unnecessary. All I could take from this is *fap* *fap* *fap* im so good *fap* *fap* *fap* If you are no longer having fun getting banned, then go find some clans and have some clan matches. I am sure since this game is becoming pretty competitive, then the idea of building a massive arena and having clans dual in it should be appealing to some.

Play on an official server or buy your own. That's the answer to your question. If you make enemies with half the players on a private server or piss people off on purpose by just KOS, especially new spawns, the admins will ALWAYS choose the majority of players over you and your friends. Why? Because they do not run a private server as a feeding ground for you and your friends to KOS and bully the lesser skilled players. If that's your thing, get your own server and population. See how that works out for you when you KOS everyone that joins. Take care.

how big is your group nova? if you were only 3 Im pretty sure noone would touch you. but running around 5+ is low risk high reward and if you are good players on top of that then smaller groups and lone wolfs iwll lose motivation quickly. then again thats the point of a group.. but yeah thats how it is :/

Check out the ones streamers play on a lot.

If you want to never get banned , try hosting your own server, or join the official servers. That's the only way I can think of reducing your chance of ban to 0%. Community servers are riddled with different kinds of people with differentiating types of authority and your chances of ban can be really high.

Try playing on servers with other good clans.

Do you think you're getting banned for being huge disruptive assholes? To clarify, I'm not specifically passing judgement on OP's playstyle, but I'm suggesting that's what the admins see OP as.

Here are some tips to not get banned by server admins. 1. If you ot any member of your group is cheatin (you know if there is) turn it off. 2. Try to not play hardcore all the time. Like dont kevlar mob every naked within rust island once you get kevlar and an M4. This is server killing for most admins to deal with. Try running around in cloth and a pipe and a revolver or something. Still fun just not nearly as lethal to new players. 3. Dont raid/canp every new player. This is server pop killing to any server and will usually result in a ban. You coyld camp someone but its super bad if your in kev and they are naked with a rock. 4. This is kind of stupid one but its been super effective in the past for my group. Run around naked and just die a bunch. It really makes you look less of an amazing player/cheater if you die a bunch. If you actually cheat you deserve to be banned from gaming in general, but if you are just good then even though I may not agree with admins banning for these things they will and using those steps will help your group a ton.

Go play Counter-Strike if that's all you're interested in.

This is nothing like rust where you have to pull your mouse down 5cm per shot with an m4, or 15cm per shot with a p2p50 (on my settings). There is no way you could play at a sensitivity where you could instantly counter p2p50 recoil while also maintaining some accuracy. Also most KOSers are hated on any server and usually banned for "hacking" if they are too disruptive and hurt too many peoples precious feelings, especially the admins.

Why don't you go play on the free m4 at spawn servers? I've banned several groups of your type, simply because you're bad for the server. The greater good for the greater majority is banning you, and allowing the other players to play. If you're not willing to go to m4 at spawn style servers, or you keep getting banned from them, maybe Rust isn't for you. I'm going to take some liberties here, but I would say that the "spirit" of the game is not KoS/RaidRaidRaid/your playstyle. It doesn't appear according to the games description or general setup that your type of playstyle is something it was built for and likely was not meant for the majority of players to be from that crowd. In fact, as evidenced by your banning it appears you're in the minority. So you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. You enjoy a game that was not meant for your playstyle. Your options are limited, however I feel you would probably get more mileage out of a true FPS rather than Rust as far as enjoyment goes.

just play on official servers.
