Hi guys,
On 01/07/14 HFBservers has shutdown my server and disabled all services without contact me. I opened a ticket and after 7 hours they answer saying my IP is suffering a DDoS attack.
Today is 01/10/14 and nothing was resolved. HFB is a worst service in the world.
No SLA tickets.
Dumbass operation.
And total incompetence at what they do.
They will not refund.

Most of the rust server hosts are no-named never heard of before server hosts.
NFO is the only server host I would ever use, because they don't fuck around.
They can't do anything about a DDoS attack... this isn't really their fault.
Now, obviously I understand that their communication could be much improved, but as for the DDoS, blaming them isn't going to do anything.
Plus, in their TOS it states that "slander" against the company can result in a termination of service and refusal of a refund...
Sending a file to them called fuckhfb.jpg doesn't help your case. If you were a bit more calm and level-headed you probably could have talked them into a refund.
Tl;dr: Don't be an ass and you might get better service. :)

Even if not, it's just the VERY basics of etiquette.
Dont waste your time asking for a Refund, Just Dispute the Charges with your CC Company.
Every day, stupidity reaches new levels.
Are you even reading their replies? You bought something, sure, you want it to be up all the time - but you can't always have everything you want. Things like this happens with online services like those.

Isnt slander when you accuse someone without proof ? This is not the case. Its very clear how Piss poor the service clearly is.
Agree with hippy, just cancel / call back the payment through which ever company you used.

How so? Rented plenty of servers, downtimes happen. It's just a thing you'll have to deal with. And of course it varies between companies, but I'm satisfied with HFB.
I truly feel sorry for HFB having to deal with customers like the OP. I envy their tolerance :P

If you do a chargeback they can (and probably will) charge you late charges on top of your balance as well as a[B] fee up to $150.[/B]
Don't do a chargeback for $20, it's not worth it.

I've been a satisfied customer of HFB for over a year now. But then again, I don't send tickets in with attachments saying "fuckhfb" and calling them inept either.

Yeah, I'd agree. Going from just what I've read though. When I've rented, excessive downtime gets credited back, especially if its clear the renter has an issue with it. But I also prefer companies that reply in under 20minutes no matter when.

You can't talk to people like this and expect them to help you.
Any poor service you received it directly linked to how much of an asshole you were to them.
Bad service or not doesn't give you any right to insult them. Just cancel your sub and move on.
Side note, read the ToS for their services. Also read the rules for the forum..
ITT: A little asshole kid with no patience, no real conscious thought of reality, no value behind the services rendered, and no idea how to justify his actions.
To top that off, if you talked to me like that, I'd cancel your service, keep your money especially with a ToS like theirs, and tell you you're never welcome to rent a server from me again.
Then again, I'm a dick, but I get shit done.
As far as you talking like that to these people, I'm surprised they even gratified a response to you. You have shit social skills and problem solving skills. This is NOT how you handle yourself when you talk to a company about refunds, chargebacks, fixing your service, or changing service locations.
As far as I'm concerned, you reap what you sow, and you sure as hell sowed the seed of disdain with this post, your replies to them, and overall, your general personality.

It's shitty of me to say that, but he was such an asshole.
He probably had a chance of getting away with it if he wasn't such a douche but he doesn't stand a chance anymore.
