Lighting problem can't find info need help (Nvidia) - Rust

So my brother just got rust gifted to him, and when he loads into game it starts off as daylight but then switches to night time (on all servers). Meanwhile while at the same time while me and my friend are playing it is daylight. Specs: Cpu: i7-740qm Gpu: Nvidia Gtx 285M - 1GB Vram 8 GB DDr3 Ram Any info will help and I'm hoping that someone has had a similar issue that they resolved. BTW his fps is around 30-45 fps.

Have you checked to make sure his computer isn't defaulting to Intel HD graphics? That seems to be an issue for mobile graphics with Nvidia Optimus technologu.

That seems to be an issue for mobile graphics with Nvidia Optimus technologu.[/QUOTE] Let me go check, and he is playing on max settings as when you set them lower it makes no difference in terms of lighting and fps, and if it is it defaulting to the Intel HD gpu hw would he set it so it uses his Gtx 285 (i'm not well versed with his laptop). Yeah it's weird how its perfect for a second and then everything goes to hell, if anyone finds a fix pelase post it in this thread. I'm off to bed and will check it tomorrow. The plot thickens its only on community and official servers, when he plays on modded its perfectly fine. The problem is he wants to play with us on a community server.
