What Operating system are you using?
What graphics settings did you launch with?
Does the console show any errors before the crash? Use F1 to open it and see if it says anything before the crash.

I only know where to find it on Linux, so someone else will have to help you with windows.
I've noticed that I'm crashing repeatedly after < 60 seconds on any given server. No warnings, no console messages. To be clear I'm not getting kicked back to the menu; the Rust client itself is simply ending.

yea i get to running self check and then its like it just closes. i think ive tried everything?
Ratcheting the graphics WAY down to "Fast" seemed to help a lot. Didn't crash for the hour or so I was playing tonight. Thing is, I have an R9 280. That's the best $200 card on the market right now. My CPU (FX 8320E) isn't exactly shabby, either. I know from prior gameplay that I can run Rust at full res (1920x1080) with full graphics settings. After the latest update, it's crashing badly on anything higher than "Fast".

Nothing to do with the settings, it's not like the game freezes it's just instantly crashes upon connection (GTX 770)

Never said it was freezing. My client was crashing anywhere from 0 - 5 minutes after connection. But hey, don't try it if you don't want to. No skin off my back either way.

I did try your suggestion, It didn't change it even a little bit, still crashes instantly after connection I don't even get to see where I've spawned
This is a message by console Steam: k_EAuthSessionResponseAuthTicketCanceled
Facepunch support told me that the problem is known by the devs and being fixed, we'll wait and see :)
