we work, we sleep, and we play for 2 hours a day (usually).
while those damn kiddies finish school and sit in front of the monitor until 4am with 15 of their friends...
every damn day after work i log in just to find out that im dead, my sleeping bag was destroyed, and my house looted!
and while im trying to spend my in game time as productively as possible, most of the time i got owned by some 12 y/olds kiddies that ambush me
while all i do is running naked gathering basic resources.
this is bullshit!
and no, i wont join clans, because most of them are filled with kiddies both 12 y/o and 25 y/o, same mentality,
i bet if they could, they would of spend their time throwing poop on each other.

Very adult-like of you.
"Adults" tend to use better grammar and they don't usually "#rant" about a video game on forums.

Pretty sure he's mentioned on this forum before that he's only 17...

Don't build your house right next to radtown? Viola. Problem solved.
I had a fortress on the edge of the outlands and I didn't get raided, prodded or poked once and it was still a quick trip to the main road and the towns.
Play on a smaller server, player on a non-pvp or pvp-event only server or a no-raid server or whatever...use your imagination.
"Adults" tend to use better grammar and they don't usually "#rant" about a video game on forums.
well considering English is just a 3rd language i know, so yeah its not perfect.
and unless i can go out and protest, or burn tires, then i have no choice but to rant
Or you could actually be an adult and play a different game if you're not having fun in Rust. Nobody cares about the fact that you pick servers that are filled with PVP'ing little shit tweens. Pick better servers, pay for your own and control the whitelist yourself to exclude the idiots, or play something else for a while.
Nobody is making you play Rust. If it's not any fun, it's failing at the only thing it's supposed to be: entertainment. I'm very serious when I say you should take a break and play other games, regardless of what you think of my tone in the top half of my post. You will be happier playing games that are finished or at least further along. Come back to Rust in a few weeks or months and see how things have changed.
Assuming that the purpose of this post was you asking for how to enjoy the game while playing on your own:
Use a shelter + wooden door as a way to protect your resources while your online and don't have enough building materials to build at least a 1x1 house with a metal door. Then, building a house that can't be broken into with a hatchet should be your first priority. Use http://rustmap.net/ to choose a place to collect resources, and find somewhere to build a base where people won't stumble across it.
Other than that you should probably pick a game to play during working weeks that's less taxing on your time.
Find a white list server if they are still around. You might find a more mature community.
So you are an adult at 17 ? :v:
If you were mature instead of using the basic line "12yo kiddies that 12yo kiddies this" you could've asked : How do I survive when I play solo ? + you can definitely find mature people to play with , you just need to socialize a bit more with the guys on the server you play(and/or go on more servers and search for people to team up with)
He is Arabian.

Capitalization is pretty much the same in most languages that use the Latin alphabet.
Ahhh he is the guy asking for mouse no recoil scripts the one replying :
how about NOT?
to this question :
How about learn to play legitimately rather then using external software to assist you.
You are asking for maturity when you can't "provide" it

Flagdog says Israel. Just drop the grammar cop stuff unless you'd like to demonstrate your Hebrew to the class. There's a lot wrong with this thread and OP, but it doesn't need to include that.
Ahhh he is the guy asking for mouse no recoil scripts . You have to be the mature one before looking for adults to play with .
That's what makes it extra funny. You can watch him go through the stages of butthurt because other people are more experienced/dedicated at Rust than him. :v:
First he asks for anti-recoil hacks, and when he couldn't get them and even the fight, he's switched to anger.
Now I'm waiting for him to tell me that
you are so stupid, the stupidity drains out of you empty head through your ears and nose.
Nothing can drain out of an empty head so use another one this time please :D
You bought a mouse just to use no-recoil macros, so go ahead and pay to rent a server and play as you like, when you like and abuse that admin position for when 12 year old kiddies kill you, simple.

Ah, I do not see a flag for him.
[sp]elix you're supposed to be on my team! lol jk[/sp]

i found thr scripts already, on a forum with much more mature users then this one
i found thr scripts already, on a forum with much more mature users then this one
I wonder how much longer it will be until you realize that saying everyone else is immature is about the most immature thing you can do.
Dark.Lord why don't you learn to shoot instead? The recoil is controllable by pulling the aim down while shooting , same case for example for CS .
i found thr scripts already, on a forum with much more mature users then this one
So, now you're recoil cheating and you STILL lose? :v:
The "problem" the OP talks about, first isn't a problem and second is a typical event in any online game that has a permanent world / player-built-structures-that-can-be-destroyed. From games like Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot, Darkfall, Shadowbane, DayZ (and its various sub-mods), if the game lets you build some kind of base, or store some kind of loot that others can steal then you can bet people will try to do so when you are not online.
In previous games, it wasn't uncommon for guilds to recruit people from various timezones into their guild. So while Americans are asleep, maybe a morning style shift of UK players could keep at eye out on things while they play. Toss in some folks from the AU/NZ and you have quite the round-da-clock protection going.
Is it practical? No but when you play games like these, and Rust, you AGREE that you understand your shit can be stolen at any point at any time, by just about anyone. Just like any type of service agreement you have with a cable company or phone company, you have pretty much AGREED straight up front that you understand and are OKAY with such events happening. Putting hours into the game, getting your stuff stolen because you didn't happen to be online, then coming to complain about it is not going to get that type of event stopped. What did you expect garry/helk/etc to do? Implement some kind of "During X hours bases are unraidable" mechanic? You can go join a PvE server if you want, so no one can take your stuff or kill you (if they base raid just report them to the local server admin). But complaining about a mechanic of time difference, which has been here since the dawn of persistent world bases in games, is not going to get it changed, sorry.
Check one of my other post, you need to play on a pve only server, lewyk's...its good times

Sorry, but most of your examples are MMORPGS. While DayZ, when you disconnect, everything you have is on you. That, and you can server hop with DayZ and still have your stuff. I am not agreeing totally with the OP, but I am tired of these comparisons that really aren't the same at all.
Not for adults, but for people with CAREERS, getting online every/otherday is impossible, so I have to seek out servers with ultra slow decay. So when I play once a week if that, my house hasn't rotted away. Seriously, the decay rate really is leaning towards students or the unemployed. Which really limits the audience with a vanilla setup. Vanilla, the game unintentionally is pushing players who don't have as much time to be bandits.
You sound like you're 14. Learn to play maybe? That could help.
you should always research a game before buying
this is like complaining dark souls is too hard after buying it.

then the game isn't for you
its a game you have to be active on. If you can't be active, you won't have a lot of fun
there are games in which the problem is solved. property can attack and capture only a certain time,1-6 times a day, depending on the level stroeniya.chem complicated structure the less its attack, but can attack consecutive hours than proshe structure may be more likely to attack, for 10 minutes.

Fantasy is an idea but with the capture / protected properties superintendent

what about different time zones though?
What job do you have that you only have 2 hours/day to spend on different activities? Either you go to bed extremely early, or you must have some sort of social life... I work in IT in local gov, and I only work from 8 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. And, if, as earlier posts mentioned, you're only 17, I'm pretty sure you're only allowed to work up to 6 hours/day.
