I think rust should have something like long range weapons like:Crossbows,modern bows or even a really expensive sniper rifle or something.

No. It will ruin the game as the map is pretty flat, and people would just snipe all day long.
I wouldn't mind crossbows though, but they'd mainly be for shooting zombies instantly instead of stringing a new arrow each shot.

i think the crossbows should be implemented in the game,cuz they are not so easy to use and are not so precise
I would not mind these weapons in the long run, but make them EXTREMLY rare or tough to get.
Keep in mind, they are supposed to open the map. HOPEFULLY, this means it will be exciting when running into another player.
I actually think Snipers would be kool they would have to have some balance as bullets are extremely rare and maybe the sniper would not be 100% accurate(all guns shouldn't be) but It would help vs Overpowered Kevlar clans

Idk, snipers are usually what everyone wants in a survival game. I think it would be more challenging/fun to have them super RARE and tough to achieve.
Hunting bows have the largest range in game right now, actually. I don't know how long it is exactly but it's at least 50% more than the M4 range. Accurate aiming at that distance will require a stationary target, but it's one of the most satisfying in-game feelings when you hit a fully equipped kevlar warlord camping on his roof and he just frantically looks around to find the source.
Make first the ability to get arrows back (and eventually bolts) when you fire them as they shouldn't get destroyed.
That sounds like a good idea a bolt action sniper rifle so you just can't spray people down. Definitely something that they'll probably do soon/eventually, but the idea is right.. I like it!
How about like a hunting rifle of some sort? It could have really bad downsides though like un-predictable accuracy and it could be one of the most rare guns in the game. 3 round mag and ages to reload or something.

Or just add a semi-auto rifle or something. I love those. They wouldn't be too accurate, but would do more damage than a M4 and hold 7 bullets. Would be accurate, but not at long ranges, and they would have a circle iron sight.
I'm sure all of these good ideas will come in the game soon, just gotta give it time.
Players usually don't render unless they come pretty close, so long range snipers would be useless. Maybe some hunting rifle that has a bit more range than an M4 would be fine.

It would be more interesting to introduce defensive weapons (mines, traps, electrified door)
Sniper Would be an amazing exprience to play with, plus the new map they're going to release.

I like the idea of some form of sniper rifle, perhaps in the .308 Winchester Magnum. It would be makeshift and single shot, with an attachable scope that is not long range, but adds zoom functionality to pick off would-be raiders.

Raiders within range are snipable with the M4 already. No need to add more to it.

I know, though I am playing on the fact that the M4 is extremely overpowered to the point of spray and pray. A rifle with a single shot really means you get one shot before you are noticed, so make it a good one. Also gives the target a fighting chance on a miss.

new map is being worked on, should fix the 'being flat' problem.

If they design a new map with various hills and "rough" terrain, it would be plausible to have something like that in that map only. However, sniper rifles are very cool, and I fully support something like this at a later date.
I would be satisfied if you could craft a rail system for the bolt action rifle and make a scope for it to mount to. That would be plenty.
If your implementing a very long range weapon I'd like it to be some kind of crossbow or something. Hunting bow has a delay on when it hits the target so its one of the only real weapons you can't aimbot with (Less your targets standing completely still).

Not a terrible idea, but it's called a peep dot sight, not a "circle iron sight".
