I have the exact same FPS in steam mode, Had the impression it would improve, I play a few other games and I get very good FPS in them, Just having problem with rust at the moment

Turn the grass off by pressing F1 and then type in the console grass.on false and that should turn the grass off unless y want the game to look beautiful.Also turn everything in low unless you want quality not performance.Hope this helps :)

yeah I already did all that. I think its the rocks or something. Hopefully they take some out and add like render distance.

Yeah dude it is the rocks ever since they added it the frames dropped.
