I have done no sort of hacking at all. And right in the middle of a raid, i got VAC banned. VERY angry that i lost all my stuff. But even more angry i cant play. Please help!
What is Facepunch gonna do about Valve(!) Anti Cheat? And VAC bans are 99,99 % of the time righteous.

I dont think people realize that they may have been flagged weeks ago for a cheat for another game, then when the time comes to issue bans... poof. youre out.
Too many players are complaining about the VAC bans on these forums. Maybe if you did research before you posted a new thread, you would realize it is a steam condition. Rust places in your loading screen that you have to sit through (I usually sext myself during so) and in the bottom left corner it advises you of the consequences for your actions if you are to take advantage of it.

Not for other games, VAC bans only occur on the games it detected (Exception is Valve's own games)
I thought it banned people from playing any of the games which use the same engine? AKA source would be CS, TF2, etc

VAC Stands for Valve Anti Cheat so it wouldent make sense.

A couple of years ago you would be right but afaik they've updated VAC so you only get banned on the game you cheated on
