I go to so many servers where it seems the aim is to kill.... kill Here is what Facepunch the game makers say about the game "The only aim in Rust is to survive, Create alliances with other players and together form a town, Whatever it takes to survive" That is the TRUE LEGITIMATE side of rust. To me it does not make sense to kill everyone you meet in a world where people already tried to kill themselves
On my server you will find friendly helpful players (if not they get found out and banned quick enough) Helpful Admins that will instructed newbie players and give help when needed. Starter kits, frequent airdrops, the chance to explore your creative side by building houses in peace. Then because we are humans, the Admin is working on setting up an arena where people can work out their aggression's in the manner mother nature meant VIOLENT PHYSICAL CONTACT not "TALK"which lead to the destruction of the world in the first place. As always the King will make the final judgement in any unresolved conflicts.
The truth of the matter is, not to burst your bubble or anything, if you want a true PvE game go elsewhere on maybe a single player game. The whole concept of the majority of multiplayer games is to COMPETE and in this case survive. Sure if you want to build stuff you can but can you tell me doing the same thing over and over and over again without any interruptions is enjoyable? Sure you get the odd bear chasing you - Woop di doo - the bears and such are NPC's by the time they have engaged you you already know how to defeat them or run away from them and eventually you will become bored - if your wanting a sandbox game with no enemies - go play Garry's Mod, if you want to try survive on a server with the potential of allies stabbing you in your back and all other aggro then come play Rust :)

@ UKRust as always each to there own. I myself have over 700 hours in the game and yes I do go to different servers to see what is out there but for the most part I enjoy the building and friendship of playing together. When I want to play First person shooters I'll play Left for dead CODWAW, or any other of my 100 games I enjoy playing. So no no bubble busting just fun game play. BTW if you want to test your skills it would be a on game that is not Alpha and where part of the time it is pure luck if you kill someone because of the lag that rust suffers so much. While Rust touts itself as a MMO I only see maybe the max 80 people or so playing together.
Well said UKRUST! I totally agree. Also NOTslip, if you are looking for a low ping fresh server with pretty much everything you are looking for (zero lag and great plugins) come by and give us a try, you might find this to be your new home :)
Feel free to PVE all you want, but this is always meant to be a sweet fun PVP twist also.

or 92,000 on a 50 man server according to 1 or 2 russian serers.......dont get me wrong i enjoy building but its the sense that ive built a few buildings...now what? build some more....oh ive built that.......etc :3 at least as this being pvp it gives it an economy of sorts if you will (minus in-game mechanics)

The admins on this server use the remove tool to raid peoples bases. You've been warned.
Peace River RUSTlers. PvP weekends only. From 7pm ET fridays to 7pm sundays. Raiding and griefing not allowed ever, even during PvP periods.
Magma/Rust++ mods. Daily airdrop, homeTP, and more. Friendly, helpful admins and other players. Well, except on weekends when it's everyone for him/herself.

I'm also looking for a 'true' PvE server, but only one that has at least a few players online at any given time.
I've joined so many pve servers and built a house only to discover after a few days that there's never anyone else on there except like me and one other guy
So does anyone know a good PvE server where there's a half-decent population?
