short and sweet. i would much prefer not being able to see the maximum amount of discoverable blueprints/ how many i have discovered. uncertainty is nice, not knowing what is out there to be found. not to mention the feeling of hollowness im bound to feel knowing that i have found everything there is. sure, you would probably come to realise this over time anyway but i still think it would cheapen the experience to see how many things there are to find from the get go.
I like your point about uncertainty. To be honest tho you picked a terrible title for this thread, I'm sure you were being sarcastic but its gonna be taken the wrong way by everyone.
What uncertainty? There are only a small number of different things to craft in Rust. It isn't like you're playing DayZ where there are infinitely more items in the game. If you play Rust for a week you'll already know what every single craftable item is.

That isn't even entirely true. I bet you a noob could buy this game today and not know there is a revolver in a week. That is without looking at the BP menu. Edit: My point is, down the road there will be lots of items and it always leaves it open to exploration.
That's dumb, there is no uncertainty, all of your blueprint questions can be solved in 5 seconds with a simple google search. This is just centralizing everything into the game instead of making us open an internet browser whenever we want to figure something out.
well do be fair, we don't really need to know how many of the total number of blueprints we have found either. i think it's nicer without, but far from gamebreaking or disruptive.

If you play Rust for a week you'll already know what every single craftable item is. i sincerely hope we will have a lot more to discover by the time this game is complete. not to mention it doesnt really make sense to me to be able to see the total, if as i understand it the blueprint is about my person (in my bag or something) how would i know how many more are out there (unless of course the blueprint says 1 of x at the top or something.) i personally feel it (in a relatively minor way) is detrimental to the exploration element of the game.
