• Is c4 TOO HARD to make now?

I always felt like the only way to keep the rust world balanced is to continuously destroy it. When a building reaches a critical mass, it becomes virtually invulnerable to raiders, to only people who would ever raid a legit 7 story house are large clans with a grudge, and with door sharing, raiding groups has become EXTREMELY difficult. Its almost become impossible to make c4 worth it, especially after the ammo expended and whatnot. With me really focused on gathering for c4, it takes me 15-30 mins just to craft a single c4 charge. Not to say i cant do it in bulk, but for each individual one thats about the verdict, if left completely uncontested at the nodes. 15-30 mins. 24 mins per c4 average... With a base close to the nodes. Even with a large group, in order to get a decent, sweet stack of 10 c4 takes a good 3 hours, since more people doesnt always mean more resources, since they gather from the same general area... i can build a decent 6 story base within 3 hours, and i gurantee you the things inside would never be worth 10 c4. So i ask you, is c4 too hard to make now?
It doesn't need to be lowered, it is fine how it is.
I like it as it stands. Perhaps it might even be worth making a touch more expensive. C4 was way too easy for a while there. As it stands, there's much less C4-spam going on.
Making C4 difficulty to produce encourages groups to use the C4 more effectively. If it's too easy larger groups will be able to use it for things that they wouldn't normally bother with, like destroying smaller player houses or solo player houses just because they have it and they can. It would make the game entirely dominated by large groups.
they shouldn't lower it but we cuold get new type of explosives in later phases of game.
Too easy to spam metal doors if you ask me.
I think its pretty good now with the c4, so u cant waste 50 c4 per day if u are a grp
I guess there's two schools of thought about raiding. Personally, I don't think it should be easy or necessarily rewarding. So yes, it should generally take a substantial time and resource investment, assuming a player knows how to setup decent defenses, especially since you can effectively raid a base when no one is even online to offer up any resistance. One of the biggest issues before, IMO, was the risk:reward was too unbalanced in the raiders' favor.
idk why people complain so much! it seems you can play 30 minutes and craft a shit load of c4, but no you can't. so yeah stop complain and go build better bases and more hidden. but the same people crying and complaing are the one who builds a 2 floor base with 3 metal doors aside of the road, so yeah, it's c4 guilty that people are dumb.
