Hi, i know this thread has been made a lot of times, but i have a question, someone knows actually if they are going to improve or try atleast to optimize the game ? Because not all of us have the money for paying a new pc or a epic video card, actually i have just a normal notebook that i use for school and sometimes i like to play on it. I knot this is an alpha and i get like 15 - 20 fps, i hope i can get 30 if they optimize it ! someone knows something ? Sorry for my english, i know it sucks.

Try this, now I can't say it works myself since I run a good enough machine to maintain good FPS. I suppose it can't hurt to try.

I tried kind of everything, grass.on false , and all the other commands , i dont want to try using external files, who knows maybe i can get VAC BANNED because of it :(
Optimization is done last. Think of it as the paint job and polish on a car.
You don't start painting the car when it doesn't have any doors and the engine is still half-built on the floor next to it. Because you'll have to paint almost everything over again when you're done, so all the painting is wasted time.
It takes time to optimize a game, and it is [B]not easy[/B]. Doing it too soon means you may end up having to change everything and throw out the work you did. If you spent an extra 5 hours optimizing that work, that's 5 more hours wasted.

Haaha , i know but they will do it ? i just want to know that, because i hope maybe in a month or two , to play with better FPS , thats all i want to know
Have you turned off grass ? my pal had to do it tonight and that helped a lot , Then we find its only using his integrated graphics and not the dedicated . The fps will improve a lot once its optimized .
I don't know that it'll be significantly better in a month, but this is alpha. It won't be done until it's done, and what you paid for was the finished game.
