Rust Lag on Y570

I was so happy to play rust since I just saw it came out so I brought it and well... I was kind of disappointed with my lag 5-20 fps. How am I going to play the game and fight others while I have so much lag.. On Battlefield 3, it have an average of 30-60 fps on all ultra settings and low on shadows. On Minecraft, I have 80-180 fps.
What is wrong with rust? How can I fix it? Also turned off grass and run at lowest settings if I can

Probably using that Intel Graphics 2000, it is a common problem with Nvidia... (you have change some settings @ nvidia panel i think).

You could search around, eventually someone will post the solution tho.

i have specs close to yours but a 1 generation newer GPU (GTX 675M 2GB) and i only get an average of about 30 fps on maxed setting with clouds on. so you may need to go and look at the FPS booster things that can be done via the console (like turn clouds off).

Also make sure your computer is in high performance and not power save mode. This will reduce the power your GPU gets and slow your fps way down. my GPU even throttles when im running on battery and im down to about 5 fps on battery but will kick right back up when i plug it in.
