Well, 75 hours in and heres my take - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

The Good - AWESOME game, very well written, minimal bugs, great style to the scenery and the atmosphere is unique. Lots of fun to play and as all REAL preppers know, you wont survive alone after the big one so teamwork is huge. My hats off to the creators, very well done.
The Bad - Island seems a little small (would be better if about 50% larger at least), that way you ARE lost, not just running around a circle. Hackers, but well thats everywhere it seems (not too bad, but still there).
The Ugly - Two main things, one being admins have way too much power. Yes they paid to rent this software and use it (behind multiple steel doors and I'm dead - nothing blown.. come on.. Teleport anyone?). Its become their little empires with their friends. You can deny it but it has become this.
Second item is there is ZERO defensive capabilities. Seriously, C4 for offense, but I cant make a trip wire pipe bomb or shotgun to nail them as they come in? I can craft C4 (which uses ammonium nitrate 0,0,34 - fuel oil and a 3rd item-not going to say) and I cant make a punji stake pit for people to fall into? The totally ruins the game in that if I was actually sleeping in there (and not logged out), I would have a crap ton of booby traps to slow them down, wake me up and grab my 308. Since I'm sleeping and logged off (yes some of us go to school or work full time) so we are at the mercy of the admin and his buddies and all the C4. Please look into booby traps and defense. Yes people will put them out in the world but they would in real life also. Heck I'd have my own area protected and if you wandered through, look out. Right now its just gangs of C4 crazies going crazy on the offensive with NO repercussions to them and no risk(yes our sleeping body is gonna do what to them?).
Anyways, great game so far. Think its got incredible possibilities and potential.

Admin power is a community issue, not a game issue really.
A good admin will use their powers to police the server and run events. A bad admin will abuse it to make a little empire for them and their friends, but it will be short lived as everyone else will leave to find a better server.
Defensive capabilities are down to design at the moment, but will no doubt change over time. I have seen bases with a design to tempt you to break in through a high window, only to drop multiple stories on to spikes. There are bases where you have to die to get in. They can all be raided one way or another, but the aim is to make it such a pain to get anything worthwhile, that it is not worth the C4. Also, if you get raided, change your design a bit, so they can't learn your layout. Every base has a weakness, but if you make it harder for people to learn it, the only way they will find it is luck.
The admins have too many powers? If this is a problem, one needs new admins, not limitations on them. This goes for ANY game.
