I don't expect this to have a high priority, but will you please add an option to blur out the naughty bits. I don't care while I'm playing the game, but my kids like to come up and watch me play some times. That isn't something I want to expose them to. I hope you take this request seriously. I'm not asking you to blur this for everyone, but to simply make it an option. Thank you for considering this request.

It's understandable, but this game is meant for a mature audience. If you don't wanna expose the kids to things like Rust, then play when their gone or lock them out of the room, simple.

Well yes, but some players also don't want to turn around and get slapped in the face by a penis while a bambi is hitting you with a rock. Granted it is of little priority since the game will not change, but it is awkward to be playing this on my laptop and have a friend come up and ask why I am chasing a naked dude...

1 - If the shooting mechanism were as realistic as the naked man, I wouldn't let my young kids watch that either.
2 - I so rarely get to the point where I have sufficient equipment to kill another player that it has never come up.
So for you to say that I'm making this distinction is just ignorant. There are many violent video games that I play that I would never let my children watch.

Well, apparently that's going to be the case for Rust as well. As for your claim of ignorance on this issue, it is actually you that's missing the point. It's not a matter of how graphic the violence is but rather the message you're sending to a young mind when a little nudity is horrific but murdering people is just fine. It's a seriously messed up way to look at things...

I think the devs' responses on this issue in past threads can be summed up as, the above attitude is precisely why nudity will remain in Rust.

But it is a reasonable question, maybe not the way he stated it, but a question none the less. Im curious of why its such a big deal that we keep a naked player model. Now granted, i WILL enjoy the game whether or not i am killing a naked man or a clothed one, but i will admit that i would rather see a hundred clothed ones then naked ones running around.

that's how they express it. they want to make a good game but if they want an idea a few people ranting about having penises in it isn't going to stop them.
