why did you guys wipe? there was no one really playing and almost every base was completely decayed. Not even a warning to the few of us that have been dedicated on your server.
you assume that it was an intentional wipe?
Why wouldn't I? I haven't seen admin on this server for around a weeks time. So there was no way to communicate.
Not to mention if you do backups on a regular basis then restoring the server is easily done.
I'll add that this server had a great group running around on it but suddenly died off for reasons unknown to me. A few of us stuck it out though in hopes that the server would pick back up. I'm not too stoked about having to start over. Wipes are to be expected when the server is performing poorly or if there are a ton of people on it and the map needs to be cleaned up but in this case the only reason i can see as a reason to wipe is to add into the server title 'wiped 7/30' to attract new players.
Anyways it's your server. You guys can do what you want. I was just wondering why the wipe. Lou and I were not even at end game yet due to the fact that air drops are super rare and several rare items had not been found yet. Hell the day before you wiped we just managed to get the last two metal pieces we needed to research so we could start working on a metal base. Ahh well.
careful with this server. after playing on it over 2 weeks I came to realize admins would spawn in c4 and raid peoples houses while they were offline. When you would come back on you would have all your doors / walls blown out and loot missing. They would redirect the blame to someone else every time. The admins will also spawn you in free items if you say your going to leave due to abuse. I personally had this admin spawn my free building materials and turn on recycle mod on for me to move my houses. He will ban you if you call him out good thing he cannot control whats posted on here.
