Please, for the love of god give the server files to a host that specializes in DDOS protection

I am really getting sick of putting in hours of work on a server just so a hacker that is banned or a 9 year old that loses his stuff can ddos the server, the company's that you have currently provided with server files are all incompetent and can't keep your server up, There are several game server hosts that have amazing ddos protection, and with that being almost as big of a problem as hackers, I can't see why these companys don't have them yet.
https://www.intreppid.com/ - These people offer some of the best ddos protection around, and are a child company of Staminus, which is one of the worlds leaders in DDOS protection
They are really reasonable and I have personally worked with them, I would highly recommend you give them the ability to host rust servers as they offer up to 10gbps ddos protection, which is the highest of any company I have been around.
Honestly a needed change for the current state of rust.
That FPSPlayer GSP (Whatever it's called) I heard is very good too. But yeah, most of the current providers, especially HFB are terrible.

I have HFB and my DDOS protection is working very well. So not sure what you are talking about.

HFB forces you to pay an extra $20 a month for 10gbs DDOS protection while most providers give that to you for free. Plus their customer support is god awful, as shown by many threads that have been made in the Rust subforum.

I get 30 minutes to an hour response times, and have never had any problems with down time or anything of the sort. Maybe I am special or something, but I didn't have to pay any extra amount, and after checking, I for sure have the DDOS protection.

But Mr. Vader you're not fooling anyone with that red tie and vest suit, we know who you are, and HFB does too. No one's gonna give you shit, they don't wanna be force choked to death.

XD stop breaking my cover XP
They can't even find a decent host for the official servers.
There is a ton of decent hosts out there the fact is they chose to give them to a bunch of reseller shitty companies that sprang up out of thin air, hosting like "rustservers.com" or whatever, Why not give them to gameservers, nfo, end of reality, etc, all established promising and amazing hosting companies.
Like, come on, HFB doesn't even have their billing panel setup, why do they get to sit and mass profit off of the scarcity of rust hosts?

Looks like they want to go out of business soon.

Some people deserve to pay that extra money if they really think such a service has to be paid.
It's totally normal that the hoster keeps the server away from ddos.
Why should you pay for the server and a service which keeps your server running (while it won't work without)?
That's like paying 2 times.
